What do filters and fluids cost in Brampton?

$24.99 to $189.99 plus HST. Every one of these is checked on your oil change anyway, so if it does not need doing we tell you and you pay nothing.

What each one actually does

Five jobs, all of them quick, none of them worth a separate appointment.

  • 01Engine air filter. Filters the air the engine burns. A clogged one starves it and dulls the throttle.
  • 02Cabin air filter. Filters the air you breathe. The one people forget, and why a heater smells musty.
  • 03Oil system cleaner. Added before the drain so deposits leave with the old oil instead of staying put.
  • 04Wiper blades. The rubber hardens and tears with age, which is what causes streaking and juddering.
  • 05Transmission fluid. A drain and fill, not a flush. It degrades with heat and protects a costly part.
How our pricing works. Parts pricing depends on what your vehicle takes, so we quote the exact number before we start. If we find something worth your attention we bring the old part out and show it to you next to a new one. You decide. Nothing is added to your bill without you agreeing to it, and all prices are subject to HST.

What else can Lube It do besides an oil change?

Engine and cabin air filters, transmission fluid, oil system cleaner and wiper blades, plus tire changes, rustproofing and battery replacement. All without an appointment.

Will you try to upsell me?

We check these items on every oil change and tell you what we find. If something needs doing we bring the old part out and show it to you next to a new one so you can see the difference and decide. If it does not need doing we say so.

How much do these services cost?

Wiper blades are $24.99 each installed, oil system cleaner is $29.99, engine air filters start at $34.99, cabin air filters at $39.99 and a transmission drain and fill at $189.99, all plus HST. Filters vary by the part your vehicle takes, so we confirm the exact price before we start.

How often should the filters be changed?

Once a year is what we recommend for both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. We check them on every oil change and tell you when they are due, so you do not have to keep track. Your owner manual overrides us if it says otherwise.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Drive in during opening hours, seven days a week.
